Nut Brownies
Ingredients
- ½cup of butter
- 60g of Laura Secord 70 % dark chocolate
- 2eggs
- 200ml of sugar
- 100ml of white flour
- 50ml of almond flour
- 1tsp of vanilla extract
- ¼tsp of cinnamon
- ½cup of your choice of chopped nuts (Hazelnuts and pecans were used here)
- Preheat oven to 325°F
- Melt the chocolate and the buttertogether in a bain-marie
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugaruntil mixture whitens
- Add the melted chocolate and butterto the mix
- Incorporate the sifted white flourand almond flour
- Add the rest of the ingredients andmix well
- Pour into an 8’’ x 8’’ greased pan andplate it in the oven
- Bake between 12 to 18 minutes oruntil toothpick comes out completely dry after inserting it into the brownies
- Let cool before removing from thepan.
