Nut Brownies

  • ½cup of butter
  • 60g of Laura Secord 70 % dark chocolate
  • 2eggs
  • 200ml of sugar
  • 100ml of white flour
  • 50ml of almond flour
  • 1tsp of vanilla extract
  • ¼tsp of cinnamon
  • ½cup of your choice of chopped nuts (Hazelnuts and pecans were used here)
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F
  2. Melt the chocolate and the buttertogether in a bain-marie
  3. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugaruntil mixture whitens
  4. Add the melted chocolate and butterto the mix
  5. Incorporate the sifted white flourand almond flour
  6. Add the rest of the ingredients andmix well
  7. Pour into an 8’’ x 8’’ greased pan andplate it in the oven
  8. Bake between 12 to 18 minutes oruntil toothpick comes out completely dry after inserting it into the brownies
  9. Let cool before removing from thepan.
